The Best Picture I Saw This Week (6-5 to 6-11-2015)
written by Sam Greenspan

Welcome to another edition of the Best Picture I Saw This Week...

Second runner up: Pushing toward hipster singularity.

Yes, that's an old timey bicycle attached to the back of a Prius -- two methods of transportation that might not be the fastest or most powerful ways to get around, but really broadcast an ethos.

First runner up: True love.

The photo itself isn't necessarily stunning, but with the story behind it, it becomes glorious. The guy pictured is 20-year-old Ayan Zhademov of Zhetisai, Kazakhstan. Last week, his girlfriend was freaking out about taking her college entrance exams, so he dressed up as her to take the tests for her. He was busted when he had to speak, and his fake high-pitched voice didn't sell the ruse.

The winner!

This is I Love Lucy to the extreme. Rio is building all the sites for next year's Olympics, and a former couple's house is in the area where the Olympic Park is going up. (The man and woman still live together, despite being separated for 10 years.) The husband didn't want to take a payout to move, but his ex-wife did -- so while he was out, she took her money and let them demolish her half of the house. That's him, sitting in the remaining half.
